SLO - Student Learning Objectives
* Teachers should be ready to fill out the Student Growth Tracker. Here are the directions for what teacher need to do!* Documentation will be done on a Google Sheet- Here is the link to the Google form for the Student Growth Tracker. It will force you to make a copy. The link will be placed in Strive. See the above directions on where to place the link to your Growth Tracker Document in Strive.
* The dates for each of the progress checks is listed on the form - Nov 12th, January 14th, and February 18th.
* Remember that the point of the checks is for teachers to adjust instruction for the students who are not growing - not just document where kids are.

New ELAR TEKS:

Preparing for the new ELAR TEKS? TCTELA is here to help with PD2Teach. Teachers are leaders from across the state met in PLC’s to discuss the standards and implications for classroom instruction. In a series of videos for each strand, you an hear the discussion and access resources to support the curriculum development at your campus. Previously password protected with a login to the bulb digital portfolio, videos and resource materials for the introductions and strands 1-4 are now available FREE at http://at.bub.re/sRN. Videos and resources for strands 5-7 are expected to be available by January.

NEW Science TEKS in Eduphoria
Below are a few updates to Eduphoria and the new Science TEKS.
* Aware - Per communication from Eduphoria - A script ran which removed old science TEKS and added new streamlined science for all courses.
What this means:
* A user building a new test in Aware will only see the streamlined standards as options for items or for * searching the item bank.
* A test previously aligned to old SEs will still be aligned to those SEs.

* Forethought - Old TEKS for K-8 and Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Physics and Chemistry were removed and 2017 streamlined TEKS were added.

CK-12 Online Resources
If you teacher Middle School or High School, you will want to take a look at the resources that CK-12 has to offer. At this link, you can look at Flex Books that can help your students to fill gaps in their knowledge and skills. These books, once downloaded, allow students to access the content, adaptive activities, and simulations even when they are offline. This FREE resource offers lots for students and teachers!

Tech Tip of the Week 
ytCropper lets you share just a portion of a YouTube video by specifying the start time and end time of the video that you want others to see. To do this simply go to the ytCropper site then paste in the URL of the YouTube video that you want to share. Once you have done that you can specify the start and end time of the portion of the video that you want people to watch. ytCropper will generate a link to the cropped version of the video. Share that link to have people watch your specified portion of the video.
